This is just a quick sketch of the character. His Great sword has the code of galifar etched into it (Very small writing, on both blades) - and I'm going to work out a memorandum for him to read to BBEGs he's hunting. First, though, I'll have to study the Code more. But yea, this is the replacement.. Comments?

Oh, and personality.. When I described him to DM in the first quick concept idea.. He said that I was Judge Dredd.. So I'm going with that. (I like Judge Dredd.. and it fits the WF.. It's why this character has an insane WIS score of 16.. as a fighter)

Tidbit: He's working toward Juggernaut. Emotionally and Ability-Wise..

Appearance
As you approach the Broken Anvil, a seedy tavern in Lower Dura, the form of a large Half Orc bursts through its window and rolls across the ground to lay at your feet.

Just as the Half Orc begins to stir to his feet, a deep emotionless voice begins to speak from inside the tavern, "I warned you not to resist. Do you still feel the need to rebel?" His voice grows louder each word he speaks, apparently coming closer to the door of the tavern.

The Half Orc begins to stir a little bit, his head turning toward the door as a large shadow forms in the doorway. When he begins to rise, the shadow steps forth into the street. His eyes are a pool of black oil and his face is completely void of emotion. His body is enormous, standing at a massive 7' tall.

"So do we still want to fight it, Ghrek?" As the Half Orc draws his Longsword, the 'forged brings forth his great sword from his back sheath. Sparks fly off of the blade as the two Adamantine surfaces grind against eachother. With one quick horizontal slash, the Longsword is nothing but a hilt with a small bit of metal sticking off of it. The warforged sheaths his Adamantine blade and begins moving toward the Half Orc again. "Not a problem..."

With a quick headbutt, the warforged easily puts the Half Orc down for the count. He doesn't even glance your way as he hoists the man up over his shoulder, brushing past you on his way toward the lift.

Origin in Detail
He was crafted over a span of 3 years by Alanas d’Cannith, a noble of House Cannith. She was building him to be the perfect body guard for her, and was created by her because of the fear she held for her own safety in the time of war. In 970 YK, she finalized the process. He was the perfect design in her eyes for protection.

Timeline
967 YK - Lady Alanas d’Cannith is attacked by a group of raiders while traveling the road, they take all the belongings she has with her. Out of fear for her safety, she begins to personally construct a Warforged to suit her needs and protect her.
970 YK - She finalizes the process and her new protector is ‘born,’ having been created to suit her every need. His armor is finely polished and his eyes glow a soft blue. She also created a custom weapon for him, a magnificent Adamantine Greatsword. In his chest, she has placed a golden pair of wings. The first words she spoke to him were his name, “Guardian Angel”
970-980 YK - His day time is spent guarding her, but at night (When most would rest) she has hired some of the best combatants of House Deneith to train him to fight.
980-992 YK - He spends every moment with Lady Alanas: attending luxurious balls with her (Though he left his Great Sword behind on such occasions), protecting her from many assassination attempts and attempted thefts, he even assaults any who would dare offer lewd remarks or insult the noble woman.
993 YK - Alanas d’Cannith is slain by a large pack of Bandits in the King’s Forest while collecting samples.
993-995 YK - The Knight Rangers find him covered in moss, insects, and various overgrowth sitting next to a decaying body with a Great Sword resting in his lap. They take him back to King Boranel, who offers him a place among the Citadel. After a few weeks, he accepts and quickly becomes accepted by those around him as a trustworthy and loyal brother in arms.
996-998 YK - He worked as an upholder of justice for the King, protecting him from conspiracy.
998 YK - The here and now.

Ramblings
A Warforged.

His name is Guardian Angel. He is a Fighter who wields an Adamantine Greatsword and has Adamantine Body.

He was forged by a Cannith noble to be her bodyguard in 970 YK, he served as her guard (And was named by her "Guardian Angel") for most of the end of the war.

She was allowed by King Boranel to enter the Kings Forest in search of an alchemical component she needed (He was forged in Breland by the way) and had to collect the samples personally to ensure they weren't compromised.

He went to the forest with her, and she wore her clothing and jewelry that showed she had quite some wealth. When she was collecting a sample, a group of twelve bandits attacked them. He couldn't hold them all off her, and a few got past him and when she fought them they killed her.

He hunted down all of them and killed each one, and dragged their bodies into a pile next to hers. Then sat on his knees, staring at her body for a long while. He doesn't know how long, because all he could do was wonder what he was supposed to do. He had just lost his only friend and his purpose in life seemed to be gone.

The Knight Rangers stumbled upon them years later, his body covered in various overgrowth and moss. They inquired a bit about what had happened, then one remembered the Cannith Noble who had vanished in the forest many years ago. They told him that they needed to bring her back to Sharn for a proper burial, and so that he could tell the King what happened.

He was taken to King Boranel, where he explained every detail of what happened to him. The King was upset by the news; she had been a good woman. And had helped him more than once, that's why he allowed her into his forest.

Alanas d'Cannith was laid to rest just outside of her home city of Sharn, and Guardian Angel was given a job as a Citadel Agent, protecting the King and his Estate.

I love the background on this guy, very cool. I may steal him to use in my campaign. :angelhide

Just a very cool visual too. Imagine being one of those Knight Rangers who stumbled into his little clearing where a pile of very old corpses had decayed to a pile of bonus and one singular body laid out almost tenderly in fashion. And then there is large metal statue sitting next to it staring down at it, all covered in moss and waiting for purpose.

All very cool.

lol I didn't expect such positive replies to this one, I had thought it was too.. ..simple, I guess.

All I know is, I'm worried my DM will get angry when I sunder a BBEGs sword with a 2d6+6 Damage whack.... (That ignores hardness..)

Ok, maybe I'm being silly, but does he wear a red beret?

Good char concept / background.

Nah, he doesn't really wear anything.. lol.

He has his sheath forged into/onto his back. And another forged into/onto his left thigh..

Both perfectly fit the objects that are meant for them. (Greatsword for Back, Repair Kit for Left Thigh)

And a pair of golden wings on his chest. He's not exactly a fashion statement. =P

Anyone think the Code would have a "miranda rights" of sorts? I need something to read to BBEGs as I stalk toward them..
