Has anyone heard anything about the War-torn Novel open call? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-27-04, 05:43 PM I've heard nothing official, but someone on the fanfic board said that as a part of a reply for another (unrelated) submission, they receieved feedback that the process won't be complete until the end of Jan 2005.

If the Maiden of Pain is anything to go by, there's one person who will get a phone call saying that they won. The rest of us will hear when the letters of rejection go out - which all happens at once. The winner is usually contacted and the contract concluded weeks in advance of the rejection letters, so once you start to hear that folks are getting rejections, it means that yours is also in the mail.

Hang tight and keep the faith. As far as anyone seems to know, it could still be you (or me). :D
