| thought_riot11-01-05, 09:13 PM | I need some hlep creating adventures for after my group finishes the 4 published ones. WE're on shadows of the last war, but I want to start planning ahead. Any ideas for adventures after the Grasp of the Emerald Claw? The party will be the following: Changeling Rogue (CN) Changeling Bard (CN) Warforged Fighter (N) (possibly will have levels in the juggernaut prestige class) Halfling Ninja (CN) (from Complete Adventurer) Elven Ranger (NG) (Valenar, mounted) The 6th character as of now is a chaotic neutral half-elven wizard. However, he's having trouble playing him, and is going to change probably soon, to either a gnome or human artificer, or an elven cleric of the Undying Court. Help appreciated. |

If you want to stay with the entire Emerald Claw theme, then maybe toss an tablet in the last adventure that talks of another site in Xen'drik, which the party might be hired to find. Or a few texts are found at an auction by someone in House Cannith (Merrix or Girl that hires the party) that hint at the Dhakaani creating some warforged to fight the Daelkyr. The text names the place as 'Tesh Hal'dhakar' which means 'six fingers'. There is a place in the Graywalls called 'Six Fingers Gorge'. Is it the same place? Merrix sends the lady that hired the party to investigate. Now whether the Goblins created Warforged is up to you, but while there the Lady and her party run into some trouble (a Copper Dragon) while exploring the caverns and the Lady sends her familar to find the PCs to beg them rescue her, promising to pay well... The Lady was captured by a crazy Copper dragon, who likes the taste of humanoid flesh, but enjoys good company even better, so he hasn't killed the Lady yet because he finds her stories amusing/interesting... and the party must traverse open terrain, through a jungle (Skyraker) into the mountains to find/save the Lady... Of course the Emerald Claw is interested in whatever the party is doing. So are the Hags of Droam, who through Caravallah have learned of the first expedition. The Copper Dragon is a member of a cabal of dragons... Even the Lord of Blades might have some agents following the party (they might even approach the warforged in the party to do some work for them) Now the Valenar is approached by a member of his community because an ancestorial sword was captured by the Goblins during their ancient wars and the name 'Tesh Hal'dhakar' is mentioned there too... Though I would give a quick brainstorm on a possibility... |
