| kntshade09-15-04, 11:39 AM | I am starting the Forgotten Forge and I wanted to use the first issue of the Korranberg Chronicle as a player handout to launch off the adventure. My game is this friday. I LOVE the new fancy look of the chronicle and I would LOVE to get my hands on the first issue in that format if at all possible. I know you guys are very busy, but can you help me? |
| Master of shaarat'khesh09-15-04, 02:34 PM | Yeah it looks good, doesn't it? They did an excellent job. I might have a printed copy from long ago but I'd have to find it, but that won't help you so I suggest you try the website and click on the archive button. it's on the left hand side toward the bottom. If you can't find what you're looking for try contacting the creators of the Chronical. The editor and Chief goes by the board name Pallis and there are a couple others that you can find on the board that can steer you to what you're looking for. But, try the site archives first. Good Luck! :) |
| reveal09-15-04, 03:10 PM | The problem is that the first 3 issues are offline while they re-format them. :( |
| Master of shaarat'khesh09-15-04, 04:27 PM | Ooops! Sorry I only knew that there was an archive section I didn't know that it was not up yet... My bad. If I'll try and see if I actually kept anything downloaded from the first issues or if I just printed them. I know I printed them... I'd just have to find it. It might take a while to do that. I'm moving my home office/art studio to make way for our baby. So, all my stuff is in disarray at the moment but I'll look. What exactly are you looking for? Anything in particular or just the whole issue? |
| kntshade09-15-04, 05:19 PM | Well, the whole issue would be nice, but what I really need is the cover story about the murder of Bonal Geldem from Morgrave University. The PCs in my game have a benefactor who knew Bonal and will be attending his memorial service, and they will be accompanying him to the service. They will then launch their investigation into his murder from there. This plea was to the creators of the K.C. Just wondering on the ETA that those issues will be reformatted into the new look? I love it by the way! |
| Save-vs-DM09-16-04, 01:06 AM | You just need the front page by Friday? Let me see what I can do to get it done tomorrow. Hopefully I can get you a copy before then. (Our problem is that we failed to save written copies of the articles, and so we have to retype them). Cheers, Save vs DM |
| Pallis09-16-04, 02:40 AM | We are currently reformatting issues 1-3 into the new look. We'll try our best for you... |
| Master of shaarat'khesh09-16-04, 09:30 AM | kntshade, I do have printed copies but none saved in my computer, and I just don't think I'll have time to type it in and send it. sorry. Looks like Pallis and save-vs-DM are on top of it though. Those guys are great. They deserve some kudos and their efforts is more evidence of how great and helpful the people, fans, and officials of the Eberron boards are Again, I wish I could have been more help to ya. I hope you get what you need in time. |
| peterson09-16-04, 06:58 PM | Hey all, It's Peterson. I've got the first two issues saved. I've contacted the originator of this thread, but if anyone else needs anything - feel free to contact me at SleepDepCreations@gmail.com Thanks for reading everyone! Peterson |

| dvsman09-16-04, 09:48 PM | I am glad that one of our most excellent staff member was able to help you out. I think we can use your artwork in the future. PM me or the Chronicle's Editor in chief Pallis (on these boards) and when the articles get written up we will send them out to you for some work to accompany them. Thanks |
| Save-vs-DM09-16-04, 10:40 PM | Issue 1 (plain and fancy) is now up at http://keen.datavortex.net/archive.html Hope this helps with your game. now if you excuse me I'm going to rest my blistered fingers (2 1/2 hours of retyping all the articles will do that to a person, even at 75 wpm). Cheers and sorry for the delay. Save vs DM |
| Pallis09-17-04, 02:31 AM | I've just checked out your website. Excellent work. If you'd like to submit some art - or better yet - submit a one page idea for the forthcoming graphic novel section of the KC, then that'd be great. We're looking to run a story-line in graphic novel style, so if you'd like to, just email me - john@nicodaemus.freeserve.co.uk - with a page of your own Eberron drawings, a snapshot if you like of a ongoing story, as though I'd just dipped into an Eberron graphic novel you're drawing... Oh, and I hope that we managed to get your game on track with the 1st issue reformatted! (Good work guys) :whatsthis |
