Help with a name please... [Archive] - Wizards Community

Hello all,

I will be starting a new Eberron game soon and I want to use a new group of 'bad guys.' One problem, I can't come up with a good name. The group is kinda like the Aurum where it's about power and money and secret stuff but the change is this: It's members of all 13 Dragonmark Houses who want to make a new Dragonmarked ruled empire.

So, I need a name for this group and/or a name for the new nation they wish to have. I've thought of things like "The Dragon's Head", "Marked Emperer", "The Marked Empire", and so forth, but they just don't sound good. Think anyone can help me here please?

P.S. Just to let you know they are cross using all houses skills to make a perfect fighting force. They are useing Dennith trainging with a half-working Warforged creation forge to make 'special' Warforged. Magebread attack animals, special stealth airships for night attackts. The works to help put the image in your head.

04-23-06, 02:02 PM It sounds like an evil, rival version of The Twelve. You might call them The Shadow Twelve. Or maybe just call them The Cartel, since that's what they are.

04-23-06, 02:06 PM Hey IS8 im down to give you a suggestion for campaign, but i need a little more background info on the campaign and your characters. What's the motive behind this group and is there quest involved.

Sorry, got busy for the last few days. One problem with the breakdown of my group; I have a house rule that no one knows what each other is playing untill the start of the game. I think it adds to the game. But I do set a few rules for each player to follow so all characters are going for the same thing. I wanted each of these people to either be a house member or working for a house in some fastion. They will each be called on as trused members saying odd things are happening and be set up as an anti-Dragonmarked Empire group.

Its a bit pretentious... but then so is overthrowing your government because you have a cool birthmark. It also ties in with the myth that these marks are the great dragons gift to *its* children... and the ties they have with eberron dragonshards.

Not to mention the fact that someone who improves their dragonmark is called a Dragonmark Heir! Good one!

Name of group: Heirs of Eberron

Group leaders: The Dragon's Crown

Fighting group: The Dragon's Tallon

Spell group: The Dragon's Breath

Ranking will be either young to anchent like Dragon's age or Wyrm to True Dragon. But that is not such a big deal.
