Im writing my seventh adventure in Eberron and i was wondering where the lightning rail goes after it leaves Breland (from vathirond) as the maps are a little more than confusing.

Any help would be seriously appreciated as my group meets within 24 hours.

Hi,

Recently, 2 maps of the entire continent of Khorvaire have been made by fans, Kildaere007 and myself.

You can find them by following the link in my sig.

Enjoy,

Which is overall better? Also how is the weeding out the bugs going?

Well it is not my place to say which one is better. The data on both maps is the same, except in a few places where we had to guess.

The advantage of Kildaere's map is that it is vector-based, so you can scale it however you like. And if you have access to Adobe Illustrator, you can edit it very easily. It is also a smaller file than mine (by half), if download time is an issue. Kildaere just made version 1.3 available, and does not plan any other one in the near future. He (She? I don't know) feels pretty confident that there are no bugs left.

The advantage of mine is mostly a matter of taste. Vector graphics usually look "flat" compared to what can be stored in a bitmap, and that may be the case here. The map uses the original art, so if you like the style used in the book, you'll like it too. You can do some minor editing in it, like adding towns and sites, but anything major like moving borders and rail lines requires a bit more work. But you can do it with any paint program (I made it with Paint Shop Pro 8). It's been out for a few days now, and nobody reported any errata to me. I was planning on releasing another version early next week, incorporating the few suggestions (not bug reports) I have received.

I suggest you look at both. There is a link to both on my page (http://pages.videotron.com/sebby777/home.html)

Me, I plan to use them both for different things.

Bye,
