| Guide D'Jorasco07-21-05, 07:39 AM | Below is a description of my character. Please note any thing wrong with it and please give tips that might enhance it to become a more rich background. Thanks alot! Guide hails from the great Talenta Plains. His service to his clan, tradition and way of life is most precious to him and will engage anyone disgracing his heritage. Serving as an elite tracker for his tribe, Guide served valiantly and vigilantly during the Last War. His service to his brethren and tribe were recorded by many of the Bards in his tribe, and his leadership in the wilderness is always grand. His tribe, The Zufar, moves frequently across the plains, hunting and serving their Halfling brethren. The Last War took a toll on the tribes and soon many of the tribes were united under the grand leadership of Lathon Halpum. Guide was the first sent to the Lathon, along with a band of thirty Halfling warriors, known as the Fedayeen. The served as skirmishers against Valenar mercenaries and even Karrnathi undead. Taking on the role of leader, Guide conducted the first counter-attack against the Valenar in an attempt to push them out of the Talenta Plains. Guide succeeded, but not without a great cost. His war band suffered heavy losses, but succeeded in pushing the Valenar back out of the plains. Soon Guide returned to the Lathon when news of Cyre’s destruction arose. Soon the Last War was over and the grand tribe of the Lathon was disbanded until needed in the future. Throughout the war his fastieth had served him, carrying him off into battle, his Talenta Tangats swinging in the wind, his boomerang at his side and his bow on his back. Guide returned to the lath of Clan Zufar and was honored with the ritual tattooing of his body, to show his contributions and warrior spirit. It was at that time that the Dragonmark appeared. To Clan Zufar’s shock and to Guide’s his importance multiplied and became a shaman in a sense to his people. House Jorasco soon got word of this new dragonmark and approached Guide with a chance to explore the world and gain knowledge for Clan Zufar and to honor them above all else. Clan Zufar hesitated in giving their approval, due to the hasty and unpredictable nature of House Jorasco, whom relocated their House operations to Karrnath. The lathi approved of the offer and told Guide to never forget his heritage or his ways of life and return one day with knowledge and strength to one day become the next lathi of the Zufar clan. Guide, as he became known in House Jorasco, soon became well known as a man with complete devoutness, determination and leadership, especially in risky and dangerous situations. Guide's renowned abilities and unwillingness to part from his faithful Fastieth, Mujahedeen, give Guide the reputation of leader and protector, as well as fierce. Over the years of exploration and travel Guide has finally arrived in the fabled city of towers, Sharn. Guide's appearance and unwillingness to adapt to other cultures, sometimes leads to misconceptions pertaining to his visit to the civilized cities and nations. Although all this is true, his cleanliness, healthy body and honorability is seen as trusting and his ability to communicate his ideas and opinion, although simple, are seen as great and worthy to me inhabitants of the civilized areas. Over the years Guide has taken a certain liking to the exotic foods of the world and can be seen spending his pay on the many cuisines of the world. Not to be taken as a mercenary, Guide sees the prospect of exploring and understanding a spiritual guide, in the sense that it can lead him to closeness with himself and beyond himself. Guide joins those incline to a cause, and although does not hoard his gold, is particularly inclined to exotic magical items and artistically covered equipment. He will only carry what is necessary, but the occasional “high-end” ration shows up in his bag once in a while. Guide is a fighter by heart and a survivalist by soul and will protect all those that accompany him with vigilant ferocity and willingness. |

Parents and upbringing?. It's a great background simple yet very well done. |
