I am planning on a plot with similarities to hidalgo, maybe a 6000 miles race through khorvaire, sponsored by the wayfarers, dangerous countrysides, ambushed by competitors, attacked by "old friends" like Garrow, Scimitar... but I am not entirely sure on transportation, all on horses or different ones like, donīt know the proper englich title, 80 days around the world? any tips would be nice. |

Then they can decide for themselves what transportation they want to use. It should not be enough money to allow them to buy Teleport, or an airship for the entire journey, but just enough to have them choosing between horses, stretches of lightning rail or airship, or maybe something else. Force them to be creative, so the transportation problem is part of the game. |

It's desert-like, it's a foreign culture, and, best of all, IT'S A HORSE CULTURE. What more could you want? And, in answer to your question, Explorers Handbook will have more detailed prices for transportation options, though I don't know if they are lower. |
