I like the idea of a Hollow World that's constantly fighting off Kyber and assume anything that comes from "above" must be tainted since Kyber foes come from the caves above them. LOL! |

Perhaps there was a fourth dragon that attempted to stop Khyber from killing Siberys, and hid its face from its siblings in shame over its failure? |

The moons are excellent candidates for hollow worlds. Ben |

After all, it seems all of the primogenitor dragons are hollow -- Syberis is a ring that surround Eberron, Eberron is hollow because it contains Khyber. So why couldn't Khyber be hollow too? Maybe the inner sun (a hollow world needs an inner sun) is some mystical source of power that Khyber found and used to become so powerful he was able to kill Syberis. For a fun twist, since this inner sun is supposed to be powerful (using the above take), and shiny, what if it's the primary incarnation of the Silver Flame, trapped within Khyber like the rakshasa is trapped within Flamekeep's flame? Or, alternatively, the primary incarnation of the Light from the Kalashtars' Path of Light. In either case, it could explain the presence of non-evil creature within the Hollow World, despite being entirely surrounded by Khyber's freaks. (Could be fun if the non-evil creatures are monsters from Khyber that have been "shown the light" by the inner sun.) |
