And unless said Noble is a complete idiot, it would be in her best interest to make sure those peasants under her rule stay in good health to till the fields and do other such tasks for their Liegelord. So, I think it would be standard practice for Nobles to invite House Jorasco to build healing houses within their lands, paying for the Healers' services so they can tend to the medical care of the Fief's peasants. In short, said Noble becomes a Health Care Insurance provider. Said services, of course, would be factored into the usual taxes and whatnot, and bureaucrats would make sure the peasants don't take advantage of the system, while the Lord could himself purchase high quality care for his own use, but otherwise I think it would be a mutually beneficial arrangement for everyone in the Five Nations... |

They might employ a Jorasco representative to say "You're fine, go back to work". |

| Dragom03-04-07, 11:18 PM | My guess is the poorer regions hire a wandering Jorasco healer to circuit there and nearby regions. Probably an expert of some level or other with a maxed out heal skill, along with a associtated Barbarian with a clawfoot and a big chest full of copper and silver. Timmy *Cough Cough* Mother "Relax dear the Healer will be here in a few days" Timmy "How do you know?" *Cough gurgle* Mother "All the other kids your age are sick too. And all there mommies and daddies have a silver coin waiting for him." Timmy "Yeah!" *Cough gasp gurgle weeze* |
