Oagev ir'Wynarn is the prince of Cyre (What's left of it) and well, as the topic states.

Is it like.. Oh-ah-Gev? Any help?

Actually you have misspelled the name. It is O a r g e v.

Oar (as in what you use to row a boat) gev (short e sound like in eh)

Well that would probably be why I was having trouble with what it sounded like. :(

Thank for you the clarification and the help.

I prefer to draw out the first syllable a bit.

To me, it should be pronounced Wahr-gehv (start with Oh-ar-gev, then blend it a bit) with the "wahr" rhyming with "far".

But, much like the kingdom his family ruled, the pronunciation differs from region to region.

If you go and pronounce his name right he'll think you're his friend and ask you to go on some damned-fool crusade to try to restore his kingdom. It all sounds just peachy, but you need to remember that he left his purse and bank accounts IN the mournland.

(Commerical advertisement magically triggered by reference to "bank accounts)

Maybe his purse was left in the Mournland. But thanks to the modern magic techniques pioneered by Kundarak Bank; even the crown prince of a decimated and destroyed country can still access his bank accounts (subject to presenting appropriately endorsed id and verification). So whether you are questing for your kingdom, or just looking for a secure place for your hard earned galifars remember Bank of Kundarak for all your financial security needs!

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

I'm not so sure those nice folks over at Kundarak are all that happy with Oargev after a few of their local branches in Cyre suddenly ceased to exist. Safes to hold money are nice, but when the whole country they're in becomes a blasted wasteland, recovery isn't quite as easy.
