How to make an Eberron city work in Ravenloft? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-22-07, 08:19 AM Hiya people, I have started a little project, which some might have seen.

I was wondering if any of the fans of Eberron might have some ideas, to create an eberron themed city which fits into the demiplane of dread.

So far the ideas include ff7 esque mist extraction plants, and a city centrered arround an infinite transtation. Sittiing in the centre of a desolate wasteland destroyed by all means of magical pollution and war.

Which everyone being watches day and night, by legions of faceless undead Anonnymous, who you become one of if you step outside the rules.

I was wondering if anyone else had any interesting ideas to merge these very different settings.

08-23-07, 09:00 AM Have you looked at Dragon #352 - specifically the focus on Perdido Street Station? I've always thought it could work in both campaign settings since it reminded me of both Sharn and Zherisia.

If you haven't read the book you really should.

Even the planes of dread don't bother wrapping that place, thats where they go to get ideas of their own!

It has been said in another thread that Cyre might have been taken by the dark powers, but Karrnath is a far better place to set a campaign after all how can they tell they're actually in Ravenloft when it doesn't look any different?
