An invation by the forces Ganon the Prince of Darkness(if you convert him from zelda d20 hes a rogue5/wizard15) ? Like what if he sent Agahmin (if you convert him from zelda d20 hes a level 15 wizard) and his supporters in advance to screw around/take over with the houses and kingdoms, meen while sending few unrealted groups to other places around the world to mess around with things.

Would Eberron realy stand a chance? Keep in mind that a number of the creatures Ganon can create/control are CR 15-18 creatures of emence power like Volvagia and can create Stalfos (CR 3 Intellegent Undead) with next to no trouble.

Also it would seem most likly he would be invadeing from the Golden Realm ("what? a new moon in the sky?"), not from Hyrule so he would be able to create lots of minions before hand and a rather defenceable base of operations.

Just asking because I was kust looking through the zelda d20 pdfs and I might want to have it be in part of my campaign.

Edit: Constructive replys please.

It doesn't matter, since Darth Vader and Magneto would come and kick, his butt, and then have a tea party with the Trix rabbit, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and the Herculoids.

Seriously?

Ok, of course Eberron would have a chance. Because your players will be there to stop him. It is all about the story, the stats are only there to guide you. I won't tell you how to run "your" game, but from experience, gameing seems to work best as a form of interactive storytelling rather than tossing an obnoxiously statted Big Bad Evil Guy into the mix and watching him decimate your players. Unless your players are also going to be 20th level, what do you plan to accomplish? If you are really hot to mix the Zelda mythos into Eberron...think about it this way....what if you popped in the video game and at the start of the adventure were forced to fight the final boss as a level one guy with only a hat and a spyglass...it would suck and be frustrating and not a whole lot of fun...plus you would miss out on the quests, character development and story...

....My point is that having a CR 20 bad guy is fine, even with his CR 15-18 minions...because your players shouldn't have him as a direct challenge for a Loooooong time! And be careful about introducing him too early a 20CR for a level 5 party is asking for trouble (your characters will die and your players will be miffed and then where will you be?)...Have a story in mind, and quests and challenges to support it...build it slowly and then at the end your party will face the BBEG as an appropriate challenge and hopefully defeat him.

Now, if your question is "how will the countries of Khorvaire respond to such a threat?" Remember that 100 1st level mages armed with 100 wands of magic missiles can do a LOT of damage. Plus there are other factors (monsters, powerful factions, Lords of Dust, DRAGONS..etc.) If your BBEG is a capable leader, he could capture a country or city...and perhaps that is where your players come in? If your question is would a 20th level threat "mop" up the entire world?...I would say doubtful (and unless your plan is to drastically change the world, you wouldn’t want him to anyways).

That and one silver arrow is all it takes...so the BBEG has to watch it. ;)

I dont seriously plan on having them fight Ganon at level 1, I meen maybe around level 3 they might encounter some of his minions once and a will. I think Ganon would try pitting the various factions agenst each other, then while they are busy with each other start takeing over the worse off of them by "offering them his allegence".

I'd say that the Lords of Dust, the Dreaming Dark, and the other BBEG organizations would be pretty miffed that some upstart from Nintendo was trying to cut in on their turf.

Hmm,

I'm inclinged to agree and think that a few factions would have problems.

Dragonmarked Houses: What? Who the **** is this guy then? We just got through with a war! Another one would be bad for business! Get rid of this bozo right now!

Dreaming Dark: You must be kidding! This is our land to conquer. Come talk to us, maybe we'll make you supreme high lord of Kraken Bay. Boys...let's show this guy what happens to those who try to take over our goods.

Dragons: Hmmm...he might mess with the prophesy! Kill him. Wait...maybe he's part of the prophesy. We'd better side back and watch. Let's hide, too...interference might ruin the prophesy!

Lords of Dust: Hmm...let's use him to free our elders! How can we trick him into doing our dirty work...I bet he's not immortal!

Blood of Vol: Hey! The undead bit is our shtick! Crud! His undead look tougher than ours!

Lord of Blades: What, another weak fleshed creature to kill! Give me a break! When is a guy supposed to find a little to watch Short Circuit!

Church of the Silver Flame: GANON BAD! SMITE GOOD! KER-BANGITY-BLAMMO!

While amusing, these do illustrate that not many folks are going to willingly help this guy out. A lot of the various other factions are quite intelligent, and won't be manipulated easily. If I were Ganon, I'd start small, maybe try to convert a few cults of the Dragon Below.

I'd lay low, really low. The last thing I want is all the various other factions on my tail either spying or trying to hamper me. All those other factions want Eberron for themselves, and I doubt any of them are just going to let Ganon take over.

But I do have a question for you. What do you really want? Do you want Ganon, or do you want the flavor of Ganon and his minions. I imagine that a cult of the dragon below lead by a powerful and charismatic leader would work nearly as well as Ganon himself. Using an existing faction will save you a lot of headaches, and it's not a stretch to imagine a Ganon-like figure as head of a cult of the dragon below (heck, you could even make him a Daelkyr or a Lord of Dust instead).

Hope this was kind of helpful. Don't want to squash a mans dreams, you know. (Plus some of those zelda dungeons might be cool theme dungeons if used sparingly).

Cheers,

Oh, and House Cannith would propably welcome another war with open arms. They could sell weapons to Ganon. I wonder if they accept rupies? Also, House Deneith would propably be pro-war, too.

That was halarious, the silver flame most of all. I guess I just want the flavor of Ganon. I would Like to include him in the game but I think that I will not make it like a invation. I think I will lower his level (but make him level up) for this perpose. I'll have him do something with the PCs at level 1-2 (like send them on a mission) and maybe they meet him again a few levels latter for something (unless they want to meet him again sooner) but I never plan on telling them who exactly he is (unless they ask "whats your name?") Thats for them to figure out. I also want to avoid Link getting involved at all costs, The PCs are the heros if they are going to fight agenst Ganon, if they join him (I will leave that option open) other people native to their world will fight agenst them, however if they ever get the opertunity to go after the golden power then the Hero of Time will have no choice but to save the day (or will he?).
