| cmanos10-14-05, 09:05 AM | I see it in two ways....you got a ton of physical obstacles to cross to get the totem in the goal, but then, taking a clue from the native Americans, add in 'counting coup'. The natives beliefed that if you could touch someone in a battle without killing them, you stole a piece of their honor and spirit and that person was indebted to you. For Hraazak, maybe add something in, where if you can make a non-damaging touch on someone, your team gets a point. Friend of mine is a naturalist at a state park in the Hudson Valley and has played a game like this with the kids he teaches. Sounds like they have a total riot playing it. Granted, some people's definition of "touching" is different than others. **Evil Grin** |

| rampant10-14-05, 04:58 PM | no points are scored for contact its just part of the game since it relies heavily on your prowess as a shifter natural and unarmed attacks are already part of any play i read the relevent entries alot i like the idea there are two totems like in capture the flag but your team must have both in the appropriate goal circle to score druids or other healers should be on hand at all times to keep the game going natural settings with lots of obstacles are a must, and remember no magic, no steel, no weapons that can safely and painlessly be removed, no psionics, no soulmelding |
