I'm curious if anyone has imported flavor or game mechanics from Hyperconscious (http://www.ptolus.com/mpress_Hyper.html) in Eberron. If so, how?

I'm curious if anyone has imported flavor or game mechanics from Hyperconscious (http://www.ptolus.com/mpress_Hyper.html) in Eberron. If so, how?I use the mindscape with all my psionic player characters. It's always there, there just isn't always a psionic character in the group. I mostly just use the mindscape and a select few of the feats and toss the rest out.

*bump*

Just curious if anyone else has explored using this book in Eberron. I'm considering buying a hardcopy to round out my 3.5 collection.

I'm using it right now in my Xen'drik campaign. One of my players plays a psionic elf and another is playing a half-giant psi-warrior. The elven psion is going to pursue the Chronorebel prestige class so that ultimately he can explore the history of Xen'drik, including the elven revolt and the destruction of the Giants by the Quori. (We simply re-wrote his clans history, having them escape the destruction of Xen'drik by fleeing to Sarlona after the captain of their ship was lured their by strange dreams. It was only after living there for several centuries that the elves emigrated to Aerenal, rejoining the other elves - but not before the Quori manipulated enough elves into breeding with humans as part of the development of the Inspired.)

It is also possible to adapt without too much trouble the Dark Plea as a force in Eberron (the Dreaming Dark) - there are many similarities. The Shallows, then, becomes the ring of dreams surrounding the heart of Dal Quor, and the various creatures and templates in Hyperconscious can be adapted to Dal Quor as well.

I'm enjoying the book's content and found it useful for my campaign. Not everything works exactly, but with some flavor substitutions, the book is very useful for Eberron, especially if you're involving the Dreaming Dark and the Kalashtar.
