Than Kalashtar gave to him Syberius dragonshard to help him on his way to defeat corrapted church that he bealives in. I somehow managed to insert all characters in that story, beacuse Kalashtar told to them that they all are part of prophecy and must stay together... | silversai02-25-06, 04:18 PM | Since your incorporating the kalashtar, maybe you should have the group encounter the dreaming dark and maybe the dreaming dark is chasing a member who knows a secret or the murder of a sf member who knows something about the prophecy. Another idea could be as fillers is that maybe the church is looking for some old relics and the pc's are hired by the church to retrieve them, and you can drop hints in between about the prophecy. |
| Dragonlover02-25-06, 04:20 PM | Ah, my players just left there. It's a good chance to mess with their heads and make 'em a bit paranoid, as well as throw a load of random encounters at them. Be warned, you'll be using a lot of spiders against them. Just some quick advice- spell check your posts and use punctuation, there are people who won't reply to a topic if they have to decipher the first post. Dragonlover |

True, but these are usually the same people who think the whole world speaks English as its first language and have never heard of dyslexia. :nonono: To the original poster, the natural enemies of the Kalashtar are the Quori / Dreaming Dark, and the the natural enemies of the Silver Flame are the Lords of Dust (Rakshasha and Fiends). I would suggest that you pick one of these groups and come up with some nice villains. You referenced a corrupt church, so perhaps make the Dreaming Dark the source of this corruption. Have the the players uncover some plot of the Dreaming Dark to control high-ranking church officials. The PCs are prophecied to be the ones to defeat them and restore the Church of the Silver Flame to good. As the players are part of the prophecy you could have the Chamber (dragons) in the background giving them leads into different adventures. E.g. rescue a church official before he can be brainwashed by the Dreaming Dark. Once the players have an idea of what they're up against, they'll be very paranoid about who in the Church they can trust and who might have been 'turned'. Heh! Turning clerics. I made a pun. :D |
