I can't believe they did it! [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-23-05, 02:21 PM My PCs, ever money grubbing, did something that amazes me...they told house cannath about the giant body Xulo used, and where it is, how to get to it, etc and basically, Merrix will soon have a 20 foot tall super-warforged in his posession @_@

You have both the completed Xulo creation pattern AND the undamaged body he was going to use, in addition to a working creation forge.

There's a LOT of things he could do with it, troubles figuring out what he WOULD do...

But that would be a great excersize in why Balance is SUCH an important skill. :D

12-23-05, 05:45 PM Well for the time being Xulo only has mobility in that room if active. With Merrix working on him it won't be that way for long.

You can always let the pcs pull a fast one. Tell Merrix and the Emerald claw where Xulo is and let Cannith South fight the Claw for a while.

If there was a artificer in your party, they could have just retained essence on Xulo :P

01-14-06, 11:43 AM My party is currently within sight of the Lake of Fire in the Demon Wastes where they plan to toss Xulo into the lava.

They have spent the last six month's worth of game time sneaking/fighting their way across Khorvaire to get there. It has been fun, and a great way to take a 'tour' of the rest of the continent.

They have been harried by Merrix's Thrashk hunters / mercenaries, LoB agents, the Emerald Claw, Ashbound druids, and now the Lords of Dust are interested in Xulo.

The party's dragonmarked artificer has been excommunicated by Merrix. Baroness Jorlanna of Cannith West, however, tried to get 'whatever Merrix wants so badly' from them.

The post GotEC games have ended up running much longer than the three and a half published modules.
