| shironiku03-28-06, 05:43 AM | Last night in my Eberron game, I revealed to the players that the reappearance of the thirteenth moon in the sky heralded the return of Dal Quor to its natural orbit (and had nothing to do with the Mark of Death as they originally thought). They then began wondering aloud if blowing up the moon would get rid of Dal Quor. I love my players sometimes. :D |

Now they should go to Xen'Drik and see what happened last time. Then have them go do it in Aundair. |

O.K what you should do is have them built a massive planar dampening field with an eldricth machine and then teleport into Dal quor. Muhuhahahah !!!!!, the quori will be trapped in their home plane AND people won't be able to go there ever. Oh and for the make sure they are gone before the artefact activates or they'll be trappe there. |
| DarkWarriorKarg03-28-06, 10:53 AM | Destroy Dal Quor by casting by casting an Epic Level spell: Keep Wake (affects the whole world, prevents anyone from sleeping, requirements: A small mountain of black beans, a burro to sacrifice and a straw hat as a focus. For 24 hrs, all people are afflicted by visions of a peasant and his burro emerging from behind any kind of object.) |
| ChimericalWolf03-28-06, 04:00 PM | Sorry, everyone, but it has to be done. "That's no Moon." |
| LugWrench03-28-06, 05:24 PM | No, youve got it wrong. The quote is "There is no moon." :D Or, the gang could just go to the Gnome Aeronautic and Space Administration (GASA), put a person on the moon before the decade is out, and just blow the thing apart. (everyone seen Armaggedon? Yup. :P ) |
| Neochronic03-28-06, 06:35 PM | So are you going to make the year have an extra month now? That's how I'd DM it :D The only question is what season that month would be in... maybe there's an extra long summer when it's in orbit, or maybe the seasons all lengthen. Hmm.... |

That's how I'd DM it :D The only question is what season that month would be in... maybe there's an extra long summer when it's in orbit, or maybe the seasons all lengthen. Hmm.... That is a good point. The thirteenth moon is associated with the Mark of Death (which strikes me as odd, since it disappeared long before the first dragonmark appeared on a person), but in my campaign it is also tied to Dal Quor. So I'm thinking it will either be an extra month in the summer (for dreams) or in winter (for death). I'll probably put it in winter (thirteenth moon, thirteenth month of the year) since winter is right around the corner, and an extra long winter is nice and ominous, especially when the PCs have just been told they have to save the world. |
| Ragnarok_N_Roll03-28-06, 07:00 PM | No, youve got it wrong. The quote is "There is no moon." :D  It was a Star Wars reference you :heehee ! Obi-Wan: "That's no moon. It's a space station." |
| BoneLord_of_Skullthrone03-28-06, 09:08 PM | No, youve got it wrong. The quote is "There is no moon." :D Were you thinking "There is no spoon" from The Matrix? As for that moon, you just need to introduce some old, grouchy, green guy named "Piccolo" who lives alone in the Iceworm mountains of Frostfell and does nothing but train his eldricht powers to incredible epic levels. Maybe he's a troll warlock, or something. Anyway, as long as he knows the "Beam Cannon" technique (which he did invent after all), he should be able to blow up the moon for you. ;) |
