I'm gonna explode [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-18-04, 05:38 PM Hi, i'm fairly new to D&D ( i played a while ago in high, 2ed i think, but i didn't own any of the books or anything) so this (Eberron) will be my first experience with the launch of a new campaign world. I've been kinda making up my own world as i go along; but it's hard to keep my players as interested as i am in it.

That said, I'm gonna freaking EXPLODE if Eberron doesn't come out soon! I just can't wait anymore (and I've only known about it for like 3 weeks!!!!). I frequent the D&D boards too and i was just wondering what to expect with this new setting. Where do i go to get official info about the world? Will there be novels released too? What about supplements? I assume these will be released it wouldnt make sense not to

05-18-04, 05:41 PM Well, if you're like the rest of us, you sit around, watching these boards, posting things like you just posted and speculating, discussing character types, potential PCs and NPCs and campaign ideas. So...good on you, you're on the right track.

05-18-04, 06:06 PM Apparently you can read a heap of stuff in the last 5 or so editions of Dragon Magazine, so if you know someone that has them, borrow them!

You can also check out all of the Coundown to Eberron stuff on the Wizards homepage.

Johnny Oneal (on these boards) has a massive sight with alot of info about Eberron on it. Find a post by him and click the link in his sig for more info.

And as Fourmyle said, hang out on these boards and get to know the family of crazy ass nothing better to do with our time Eberron speculators and general crazy theorists. We always welcome fresh blood.

05-18-04, 06:16 PM Oh, I offer no opposition to potential explosion. If I wasn't hip deep in my pre-Eberron warm-up short campaign, I'd be about to explode myself.
