Where I live I have to order in DnD books, elsewise I won't get them until half a year after they are released, so I want to know the most about a book before I order it, so can someone clarify a few things for me?

Can someone give me a general description of all of the new Prestige classes in the book?

What kinds of spells/powers/feats are offered, and do they feel like they fit in Eberron?

What are the Breed, and what kinds of abilities do they have? What are their level adjustment?

If I enjoyed Five Nations and Explorers Handbook, will I enjoy this book as well? Is this book as bad as some people are making it out to be?

My party consists of a Psionic Kobold, a Half-Orc bounty hunter, a Cannith Artificer/Heir, a Warmage, and an Ex-Deneith Swashbuckler. Will my party enjoy a lot of the new options in this book?

Huh? How does that help me? It doesn't answer ANY of my questions.

Did you click on that link and read the review and following comments? There's a ton of information in that thread.

I apologize if my reply seemed a bit snarky, you were only trying to help. I've just got through two exams, and I kinda lost my temper.

And yes I read through that topic a few days BEFORE making this topic, so yeah, that doesn't really provide any new information for me at all.

It answers some of your questions.

What kinds of spells/powers/feats are offered, and do they feel like they fit in Eberron?

And perhaps one of the best things, the spells are NOT out of place in Eberron! There's actually quite a few good utility spells in here, and a lot of it is low level. I mean, there's a spell in here called Clothier's Closet who's only purpose is to provide you with a change of clothes. Now that is just freaking sweet for those of us that want more utility magic! And there is a LOT of psionic material in here. Not just for the PsiForged (although they get cool embedded items for psionics), but for all psionic characters.

Can someone give me a general description of all of the new Prestige classes in the book?

The Renegade Mastermaker got promoted on the boards here as being "he bolts on some warforged pieces", and while not technically wrong, the PrC was done MUCH better than that. In fact, I like it so much, my Artificer is going to start taking levels in it (its cool actually, first level gets them a battlefist for a hand, which will go a long way in all of those "how do I get an artificial arm for my artificer?" threads). The Alchemist Savant FINALLY sees print, and its not a dissappointment either. Much reduced crafting times on alchemical items and potions (up to 3 a day for the potions!). Elemental Scion of Zilargo is a great PrC for the gnomes that are into elemental binding.

Curiously—for an elf-only Prestige Class included in a volume entitled Magic of Eberron—the Vigilant Sentinel of Aerenal includes no spells or spell advancement, and only one spell-like ability—and that at the last level of the class. The only magic-related class skill is Use Magic Device. It's one of the most non-magical Prestige Classes I've seen in print.

Not, mind you, that it's a bad class; it seems as if it would make a potent "secret agent" class, in fact. But it seems an odd choice to have been included in Magic of Eberron.

Prestige Classes:

Alchemist Savant: Member of House Cannith who specializes in doing things with potions that just couldn't be done before.

Deadgrim: A member of a secret Karnathi order that hunts undead, but becomes more and more like an undead as they level.

Impure Prince: Aberration hunting class that uses symbionts and becomes more like an aberration himself as he advances.

Renegade Mastermaker: An artificer (or other spellcaster) who attaches warforged parts to himself and ultimately becomes a warforged himself.

The two that I can't remember the exact names for at the moment:

Dragon Prophet: With a dragon as a mentor, members of this PrC gain marks based on the draconic constellations that give them their abilities.

Aerenal Agent: Basically an elite warrior, and secret agent of the undying court (no, this PrC doesn't transform you into an undying).

What are the Breed, and what kinds of abilities do they have? What are their level adjustment?

The Breed is now the Daelkyr Half-Blood. If an expectant mother spends too much time near a Daekyr, or infected by a breed leech, her kid will end up funny and with a "twin" that is actually the kid's personal symbiont.

Can someone give me a general description of all of the new Prestige classes in the book? This one got answered already.
do they feel like they fit in Eberron?Yes.
What are the Breed, and what kinds of abilities do they have? What are their level adjustment? They're the Daelkyr Halfbreed now. They're abberations with a thing for using symbionts. They're LA +0.
If I enjoyed Five Nations and Explorers Handbook, will I enjoy this book as well?Depends. This one is more of a crunch heavy book than fluff heavy like 5N and ExH. Still lots of good, usuable flavor, but its not the same kind of book as those two.Is this book as bad as some people are making it out to be?Nope. Its one of the best books for the setting, IMO. A must have.
My party consists of a Psionic Kobold, a Half-Orc bounty hunter, a Cannith Artificer/Heir, a Warmage, and an Ex-Deneith Swashbuckler. Will my party enjoy a lot of the new options in this book?Hell yeah. There is more Psionic crunch in this book than in ANY other book WotC has published, short of the XPH itself, and the Artificer is going to be drooling over some of the feats, infusions, and possibly the Renegade Master.
