It's widely available (just make sure you spell it right when searching). As for online info, just click the 'Eberron Home' link in the sidebar on the left of the screen. |

| Mouseman30410-31-04, 03:25 PM | I have been yet i am still not finding the answers im looking for and i neven said i have a passion for the game so i am not sure what you are talking about. :dice: |
| PsionicRanger11-03-04, 10:18 AM | What exactly are you wanting to know? I can give you some information about the world of eberron, but I don't know if that would help at all. Your question seems vague. Do you want to know more about the setting? More about how the mechanics fit in with the generic D&D model? How you can take ideas from Eberron and stick them into your own D&D world? I would love to help you understand more about this rich world, but I would like to know what you are looking for. FYI, you can look at an excerpt of the book on the amazon.com website. |
| Mouseman30411-03-04, 04:30 PM | OK i know this isnt my question just forget that question i have a different question now What would be a reason that i would want to buy the campaign setting??? Whats wrong with my friends and myself making up a story and a backround for it?? This is what i have done up to this point. One more question(nothing to do with D&D)how do u put a pic. with your profile name?? |

One more question(nothing to do with D&D)how do u put a pic. with your profile name?? There is nothing wrong with making up a story and a background for it (often called "Homebrew" games/worlds) The vast majority of players do this. The reason people like the Campaign Settings is because you can make more compelling stories without having to create your own "living" world to place them, and all the players can have a good knowledge of the world they will be interacting with. Eberron in particular has many interesting features that most Homebrew games have never used/thought of- Pulp & Noir and cinematic focus and full integration of the core 3.5 rules including Psionics. |
| PsionicRanger11-03-04, 06:12 PM | It's already been stated above me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with coming up with your own campaign setting...I echo that thought and even encourage such imagination...I've done the same thing several times. However: When I first opened up the Eberron book and looked at the 1st page, I was wowed! The artwork on that first page sold the book to me. Then I looked through the pages at the imagination that it took to come up with the things here and I knew that I had to have it. It was something that my friends and I had been looking for ever since the 3.0 version of D&D came out. The technology is awesome for any campaign setting. I love the new races and the depth of this new world. It has only been out for a few months and they are not getting new material out fast enough! It is a very rich setting. And I love the fact that I don't have to hurt myself to come up with quality setting--it's already spelled out in front of me--all I have to do is tweak it to my liking! I think if you give Eberron a chance, you will enjoy this great new world. |
