04-22-07, 01:12 AM Alright after reading the "Modern Music in D&D" article in Dragon #355 it got me thinking, "How would you have filled out the mix trakcs"? Each mix has 15 tracks, with the Adventure Path being the exception at 31.

04-25-07, 06:33 PM I've thought a little about this myself. So far, I've assigned a sort of "theme" to the characters in my game. Something that, while not necessarily spot on, fits occasionally. The sort of thing played in the background while that particular character shines in a fight scene, or something.

So, here goes.

Rogar, a Warforged Fighter, is that rarest of warforged, an insubordinate. He don't like takin' no orders from nobody, if you catch my drift. Something defiant was necessary, so I chose Godsmack's Straight Out of Line.
"Straight out of line...
I don't need a reason to justify my rage."

Krollix, a Shifter Urban Ranger, is always ready with twin blades and a wisecrack. Krollix's theme was iffy, but he's always displayed a subtle arrogance, so I went with Three Day's Grace Burn.
"I'll tell you now, you can't win this,
'Cause you're way too slow."

Toox, a Changeling Wizard, is adventuring for the four main reasons any man adventures: Chicks, money, power, and chicks. I've always pictured him as a show-off of sorts, casting in a flamboyant fashion, so something like Saliva's Ladies and Gentlemen seemed to fit.
"Ladies and Gentlemen please,
Would you bring your attention to me,
For a feast for your eyes to see,
An explosion of catastrophe."

Beka, a Human Archivist, makes her companions seem paragons of virtue in comparison. Corrupt and compassionless to the core, she is out to collect the most powerful magics she can, and if that means dealing with the Dragon Below, so be it. Temptation, by The Tea Party, fit like a glove.
"Temptation... Never lets you down.
Temptation... One foot in the ground.
Temptation... Satisfies the soul.
Temptation... I've lost all control."
