Thinking about the fact that they used to be humans, and illumians would be a fairly big development on Khorvaire, perhaps they were an old order of pre-Dal Quor tainted Sarlona? The more I think about the many mysterious kingdoms of Sarlona, the more I think it's almost richer than Xen'drik in some ways. Thoughts, comments, derisions, corrections? |

It's easy to imagine a small tower or a few levels of a larger tower in Sharn, for instance, housing an illumian enclave. Most people outside the surrounding district might never hear of their existence. |
| Tait Ransom06-12-06, 11:02 PM | In my campaign, I have the Illumians in Sarlona. That's worked pretty well, as the PCs haven't been there and are hearing lots of propaganda from Riedra stating that the Illumians are terrorists. I made a lot of changes, though ... I don't use the Kalashtar (so the Illumians pretty much replaced them) and the Dal Quori are actually Githyanki. The Gith sacked the Illumians astral library in an attempt to learn the Illumians' secrets (their Lich Queen hopes to modify the magic that changed them from humans in an attempt to raise herself to godhood). |
