johnnype 09-12-06, 02:22 PM	I just finished the novel last night. Can anyone explain who the dwarf artificer was? Mr. Wyatt threw some names in at the end (I don't have the book with me so I can't remember) but they didn't mean anything to me. Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? Is this the right place to ask questions about the novels? What should I read next?

mrockwell 09-12-06, 02:42 PM	If you go back and reread the first chapter, you'll see Haunderk and Kelas ir'Darren are the two Royal Eyes of Aundair who accost Janik on his trip to Fairhaven. James is apparently writing a new novel about the changeling Auftane/Haunderk; I don't know if it's a stand-alone or the first in a new trilogy. If you haven't read Rich Wulf's Voyage of the Mourning Dawn, or Don Bassingwaithe's Dragon Below series, those would be excellent choices.
johnnype 09-12-06, 02:56 PM	AH! Thank you for clarifying. That's a very nice tie in to the bigger picture that is Khorvaire. Thanks for the reading suggestion but I have an unwritten rule about not starting a trilogy until all books in the series are published. I tend to forget a lot of the details and end up rereading earlier books out of frustration. That's the primary reason I've waited until now to buy any Eberron novel.
