Neofish 11-16-04, 04:04 AM	Did anyone else check out the 2005 Product line yet.??? There is Gonna be a book called Five Nations that details all of the Countries of Khovaire. Also their is another book called the Explorer's Handbook and its geared towards the exploration of Eberron, like Xen'drik, its also got lightning rail and Airship maps... 2005 looks like it will be a good Year for Eberron.!!! Heck im evn jazzed about the Waterdeep book (bout time anyway.)
ieattrollsforbreakfast 11-16-04, 07:24 AM	I couldnt agree more! I think I am most excited about Five Nations...only 7 months to go... Explorers Handbook looks like it will be good. Perhaps we'll get a bit of information about Xen'Drik and the Frostfell as well as all the travel info. I doubt there will be anything about Sarlona or Argonessen.
DJDave 11-16-04, 07:36 AM	Argonessen will probably be something mapped out and written about in a fe years time when campaigns begun in 2004 start to produce high level characters who start to learn about the prophesy and things like that. I mean, you cant really send a non-epic party to a land of Dragons to start butt-kicking :D
CzarGarrett 11-16-04, 09:50 AM	Argonessen is going to be interesting. It seems like in Eberron, Dragons almost take a second-fiddle position. They might be powerful and mighty, but they stay out of the way. It could be that Argonessen will never have any books dealing with it, because it is supposed to be overtly mysterious and unknown.

I seem to remeber a quote from Kieth saying that it is likely there will never be an Argonessen book. I might be imagining it though... Anyway, perhaps we will see a few little pointers every now and then, but I doubt there will be a dedicated sourcebook.
Erred Knight 11-16-04, 12:31 PM	I'll get no literary accolades for that comment! :P And I thought Grasp of the Emerald Claw & Races of Eberron was going to be it for a bit... My budget is going to be tight. At any rate, both publications look good. I'm pretty satisfied with City of Towers. I'm going to keep my mouth shut on that book until I see more people here have it or have looked at it and are willing to talk about it.

There is nothing after Grasp of the Emerald Claw and the description of it in the most recent preview article describes it as the conclusion to the series. To me, good module support is more important for a setting than any amount of sourcebooks.
Erred Knight 11-16-04, 04:08 PM	I believe Hellcow said that Wizards will be laying off the Eberron modules for a while once Grasp of the Emerald Claw comes out. However, Wizards may suprise us (fat chance o that but hey- six one way, half dozen the other.. or is it sixteen pounds one way or one ton the other?.. Or... aw, forget it!) Cheers! :)
