| Tarionz_Cousin09-22-05, 11:17 PM | Five Nations is a good book for ideas about intrigue. The problem is, any of my players could pick it up in the store and skim the Breland section to learn some of the "DM's Secrets." So instead, I'm asking the community for some good, clever, extensive, or just plain creative ideas for intrigue in and around Sharn/Breland. Some examples: 1. The Boromar Clan. 2. Sharn's City Council, or some of its members. 3. Breland's Parliament, located in Wroat. 4. The influence of other Kingdoms, including ambassadors, spies, agents, etc. 5. The "Sixty," the elite noble families of Sharn. 6. Anything else that would involve spying, stealing information, politicking, diplomacy, lying, figuring out who is lying, trying to conceal lies, or actually telling the truth. :twitch: These boards have a wealth of creative people. Please don't hesitate to type up your ideas. Thanks. |

Darguul mercenaries abound, Kech Volaar eyes see everything, and the city goblinoids dream of former glory. 8. The Lord of Blades has long been stirring discontent in the streets of Sharn. Disaffected warforged are slowly flocking to his banner, and tensions are running high between the warforged and fleshies. 9. Droaam. Daask. Dragonsblood. |

| realdm09-23-05, 05:50 AM | the first part of my campaign is centered about the revolution wanted by ruken ir clarn and how him and the tain family try to achieve it.. obviusly they make the wrong alliances, and it all goes wrong |
