Pretty simple question: Is there anything in the Eberron book about junkyards? The closest I've found is the pile of non-decaying bodies out in the Mournlands, but that's not what I'm looking for.

If there isn't anything in the book, do you think some of the larger cities would produce enough metallic waste that a junkyard would be viable? Or would something like a decommisioned lighting rail car be too valuable to throw away?

I figure the large cities would produce plenty of garbage, but I'm looking for something like a traditional junkyard.

The idea of a surly old Dwarven Artificer always bossing around his inept son, with a bunch of Iron Defenders guarding the place is just too good. Call it "Sandforge & Son's".

I've not read about such a thing, but it sounds cool and it fits in well with the theme of Eberron. You can really make a long term NPC out of that artificer too, with plenty of plot hooks about what might turn up in such a place, or what might go missing. Crashed airships, secret cargo holds, warforged bits... Nice idea Hamsta- I might just have to borrow...
