| DolArrah12-09-04, 04:58 PM | Hello. I need help with an adventure. I am sending the PC's on a mission for Brelish intelligence, as a follow up to the latest published adventure, to raid the crypts of the Karnath lords. To make it complete, does anyone know the names of the queens of Karnath, other than Kaius III. If so, it would be very helpful. If there isn't any information, do you think I should put them in the same crypt as their husbands? any ideas? Thanks Peace, Dol Arrah |

What's Viorr want with the crypts? And what are the odds of "Last War Redux" exploding if Brelish thieves are caught desecrating the tombs of Karrnathi royalty? :D |
| DolArrah12-09-04, 08:52 PM | 1) I got Dragon magazine today, and there was an artical about Tombs, so I started thinking: wouldn't Karnath, if any of the nations, preserve their dead, incase they can be turned undead (back when Blood was the main religion) or to preserve their leaders, or their father, since Karn is a monarchy. I am putting 3 Kiaus tombs (since all of the leaders were named Kiaus) in the Royal Crypt, along with some 7 or 8 lesser noblemen tombs. One is for the original, on is for Kiaus I (although he never really died), and the other is for Kiaus the second. In my campain, Kiaus I faked his death, with the help of his sister. 2) Viorr's spys noticed something wrong, and the ledgers of the events, along with the personal journals, are rumored to be in the Crypts. Viorr is suspecting foul play and, since he knows how competent the Pc's are, he is enlisting them. There is also supposedly gold and magic in the Crypts, as, since the Karns, at least in my campain, are materialistic, they take a view of life as the Egypts: if you die, any possesions you are buried with go with you. I am only going to do this adventure if the adventurers get Lucan without killing him, or at least without making it public knowledge that he is a former Brelish spy. 3) Viorr puts a geas on the PC's to never tell anyone about the Brelish conection, unless they ask him first. They get a ring that lets them talk to him. They can also deny that they were involved, and, hopefully, the PC's will be tactful :bored:enough to not get caught (hahaha good luck) :noway: . Thanks for your help, Dol Arrah |

I am bad at that, and unsure who the wife would be related to, since the last war happened, only Kiaus I and Kiaus III (during his reign) would have a marriage with a person from outside of Karnnath.
