So the undead legions of the Kingdom of Karrnath has running around seem to have a connection with the Blood of Vol. The alliance between Kaius and Vol started when Karrnath was up against a wall and had no allies. Likely it was the Blood of Vol who showed them how to create the undead legions. This makes me wonder about all the legions that have been created since that time. They probably still use the techniques that The Blood of Vol showed them so many years ago. So does the Vol technique have a 'backdoor' system where TBoV could usurp control of the legions from Karrnath? It seems like an interesting move for TBoV to simply 'fade away' and let the Karrnathi's create legion upon legion of undead using their techniques, with that 'backdoor' intact. Until finally one day there are enough undead to take control of the nation, and on that day the TBoV springs into action. One night the legions of the dead, lead by Vol, turn on their living counterparts and seize control of the Kingdom of Karrnath in Vol's name.
ieattrollsforbreakfast 07-27-04, 02:10 PM	Wow, excellent idea. Seriously, I wouldnt be suprised if you were spot on with that. It would certainly make for a great set of encounters and adventures if your PCs fight with Karrnath.

Before TBoV can reach this goal a series of large dragonshards must be collected to be used in a strange atificer-made device to userp the control of the undead. These dragonshards were of coarse sought after and collected by the PC's for their employer (a devious BoV agent)... just an idea...

malisteen 07-27-04, 10:23 PM	brilliant thoughts. I'll certainly be working the idea in if my campaign starts moving into Kaarnath. That is, if I ever have a campaign. I'm still looking for players.
