Sydney? Hell if you were really committed, you'd drive! ;)

Being in Perth, an overpriced airfare would be my only hope. Anyone know of any going cheap?

Hey, I'm 15 but for Keith Baker, I'll risk the illegality of it all ;)

I'm in Sydney, but I'll pass...Melbourne's nice though. Nice city, nice nightlife, nice trams. Highest Greek populated city outside of Athens, so you know the coffee's got to be good.

Hey I'm from Sydney too!

Say has anyone ever compiled a list of all the Aussie players on the boards, notably those that live in or around Sydney.
It would be great to meet some of you guys and possibly recruit new players for my group (one of a players might be moving away at the end of the year).

BTW I was in Melbourne a month ago. I wasn't that impressed, nice Pizza at Ecco's though!

Yup, another Sydney-sider here.

So, why's Keith in Melbourne in the first place?

Keith's (IIRC) a guest for an Australian Gaming Con.
Allthough I can't remember what it's called. Any help from the Aussies here?

What I wonder is if he'll be at Ropecon next summer? (I can always dream...) :P

I honestly have no idea why anyone would not like Sacramento, CA... This is a great city. Sure, it is kinda small, but I like that. And what other city looks so much like a forest from above? Not to mention it is so isolated from any kind of natural disaster save river flooding or fire... I would take Sacramento over LA or Frisco anyday.

But I guess that is enough of this little hijack...

Umm.. anywhere in the Northwest US, most of the Northeast US, and all of Greater Canada?

Regardless of how it looks, it doesn't feel anything like a forest, unlike the places I just mentioned.

I honestly have no idea why anyone would not like Sacramento, CA... Uhh...cause its hot as hell in the summer and freezing cold in the winter? I've lived by the beach my whole life (grew up near San Diego, went to college in Santa Cruz) and recently moved to Sacramento because of the cheap rent. If I wasnt so fiscally insolvent, I would move in a heart beat. This city is an armpit. No wait, more like a belly button. It used to be really important and the center of life in California, but now its just this wierd little place that nobody likes to talk about.

If you think this is a great city than you need to spend some time in other cities. Sure, its not the worst place ever, but its far from the best. As far as cities devoid of natural desasters, try San Diego. Nothing bad ever happens there, and the weather is nice all year round. Not to mention you're right on the ocean...

I will also stop with the thread hijacking now.

It's Sydney siders. I'm just holding up the friendly (or not so friendly depending on how much you love the State of Origin. Gotta love those ads) rivallry between NSW and VIC.

I understand the need to widen the gaming horizon. What is the plan for future endeavors? Got any spots for southeastern Michigan in there? If so...I'm there.

FYI, our next con appearance will be at Oktobercon (http://www.rrpg.org/oktobercon/) in Boise, October 29th-31th. So, anyone near Boise?

Either Keith is on his wifes computer again or Ellen is being booked for con appearances. One is funny, the other is cool. ;)

I live in Washington, on the mouth of the Columbia River. It would probably be only a day's drive, maybe two at the most. Sadly, my car isn't running great and I don't have the money to get it fixed.......sounds like fun though.
Oh well. One of these days I WILL make it to a Con.

G'day from Melbourne! I was the guy who played Tanix in the winning team at spring revel down under. I only just saw this post now (sunday night) or me and the guys (team Cobra Kai!) would of popped in to mind games to say hello. Anyway tell Keith thanks for the enjoyable experience at spring revel and I hope you guys have enjoyed your trip down here.

Cheers from Ashridah A.K.A. the shambling mound pinner. :D
