It would be great to meet some of you guys and possibly recruit new players for my group (one of a players might be moving away at the end of the year). BTW I was in Melbourne a month ago. And what other city looks so much like a forest from above? Not to mention it is so isolated from any kind of natural disaster save river flooding or fire... I would take Sacramento over LA or Frisco anyday. But I guess that is enough of this little hijack...

I've lived by the beach my whole life (grew up near San Diego, went to college in Santa Cruz) and recently moved to Sacramento because of the cheap rent. If I wasnt so fiscally insolvent, I would move in a heart beat. This city is an armpit. No wait, more like a belly button. It used to be really important and the center of life in California, but now its just this wierd little place that nobody likes to talk about. This is a great city. Sure, it is kinda small, but I like that. And what other city looks so much like a forest from above? Not to mention it is so isolated from any kind of natural disaster save river flooding or fire... I would take Sacramento over LA or Frisco anyday. If you think this is a great city than you need to spend some time in other cities. Sure, its not the worst place ever, but its far from the best. As far as cities devoid of natural desasters, try San Diego. Nothing bad ever happens there, and the weather is nice all year round. Not to mention you're right on the ocean... I will also stop with the thread hijacking now.

I'm just holding up the friendly (or not so friendly depending on how much you love the State of Origin. Gotta love those ads) rivallry between NSW and VIC.

Sadly, my car isn't running great and I don't have the money to get it fixed.......sounds like fun though. Oh well. One of these days I WILL make it to a Con.

I only just saw this post now (sunday night) or me and the guys (team Cobra Kai!) would of popped in to mind games to say hello.
