The Knights of Galifar

The Knights of Galifar believe in the original nation of Galifar and its laws and that all currant governments except Cyre are rebelious traitor nations who must acknowledge the heir to house Cyre as the legitimate ruler of Galifar and swear loyaly.

How this came to be is surrounded in the myth of The First Knight no one knows for sure when he started the mission to save Galifar but all agree it was early on in the Last War, Some say he was a solider fighting for Cyre others that She was a farmer who’s lands were destroyed in the seemingly endless conflict.
At first The Knight was concerned with stopping the war by attacking those who crossed boarders and attacked towns people and villagers but in the end the Knight realized that his efforts merely prolonged the suffering of the people of Galifar and in the end chosse to lead as many refuges way to safety from the never ending battles of the Last War.
The Knight took them to a small range of mountains near the town of Kennrun, In this range past a network of steep canyons are three small but fertile valleys which they soon tamed.
After securing the valleys and building shelters and farms The Knight began a campaign of rescue sorties outside of Lasthold to bring as many people to it’s sheltering walls were they could renew their lives and help all Galifar through acts of kindness and defense of the weak and helpless.

When the Treaty of Throne was signed The Council of Knights composed of one person from the Landed (farmers), Guilder (craft/tradesmen), and the Harvesters (miners/loggers), They are governed by The Knight who appoints his successor at his discretion has his or her identity hidden by the armor of office which enchanted with Mindblank and None Detection besides being +3 fullplate.

The council started a program of gathering groups of skilled individuals Fighters, Cavaliers, Engineers, Magewrights, and sending these groups with suplies out a long the boarders of the nations not to bring refugees back to Lasthold but to establish towns and villages in new and strategic locations throughout Khorvaire promoting the ideals of unity and gaining a united Galifar not through war or threat of violence but as a fact of reality as they close the wounds of war and make possible free travel by converting or killing roving bandits and monsters helping build homes bridges and towns from the shards of war.

Sort of like sleeper-cells... I don't know that they've got a snowball's chance in Khyber of succeeding, but the goal is worth attempting.
