It's got yuan-ti, a magically transformed titan, lots of weird magic and traps. I think it would be perfect to drop into Xen'drik as a remnant from the Age of Giants. A few changes will need to be made - like replacing the tribal humans in the hidden valley entrance to drow, and completely removing the beholders who wear suits of armor like marionettes. Overall, though, I think converting this one could be pretty awesome. Does anyone else remember this adventure? |

LofM was a rediculously difficult dungeon (which was why I liked running it so much). Xendrik is the only place I can think of to put it in Eberron. If it were me, I'd made the villagers outside elves who stayed and went native after the giant revolt. Just to give the party an idea of how old this place is. I don't know why you would remove the beholders (unless you just find the idea of beholders sitting on top of a suit of armor silly, which is understandable). Maybe instead of some undefined force that is slowly warping everything in the dungeon, maybe a Daelkyr is trapped underneath it, and it is responsible for the warping effect. |
