11-25-04, 02:42 AM One of my gaming group recently asked whether the Korranberg Chronicle was available in languages other than common; I've said that the costs would be too prohibitive for versions in elven, dwarf, gnome, etc.
What do you folks think?

Possibly make the chronicle itself slightly magical by being able to be read by anyone who can at least read any of the standard languages...kinda like a reversed Tongues spell; cast upon the newspaper.

I agree with that. Its the language of all of civilised Khorvaire, so I doubt you'll care about the events detailed in the KC if you can't speak common (at least in the viewpoint of the editors). So I doubt the KC itself will bring out translations, but there may be some people about who will translate it for a few gold.

Smaller, local papers could be written in specific languages though, as I doubt the dwarves in Mror Hold are going to be passing notes around in common, or that the Elves are going to write in anything but elven.
