I just want to make sure I have this right, the feat allows for a 25% reduction in the xp cost to make an item... but the notes say you can take it multiple times and the effects stack.

So does this mean that if you were to take the feat four times it would be a 100% reduction of xp and thus no xp cost to make any magic items you can craft?

Same applies for Extraordinary Artisan and Exceptional Artisan....

My take on this kind of stacking is that the affect becomes 75% of the previous effect. Legendary Artist once, base cost is 75% of normal. Legendary Artists twice is base * 75% * 75% which ends up at 56.25%.

You can't take it multiple times. It was a misprint. This has been stated multiple times.
