| Uratoh09-11-06, 10:08 PM | Given that whatever familiar Vol has, would have the benefits of being an 18th lv wiz familiar, Int 14, etc, LOTS of HP, +9 natural armor...would it be too outlandish and out there to 'fudge' and have her polymorph her familiar into a humanoid shape and send it out to observe the world directly, having her scry on it at a set time during the day (to 'report' as it were?). I'm thinking such an individual might make an interesting acquaintance for one of my PC groups... |

If she is a lich I'd imagine she would have some type of undead or possibly an outer planar familiar. |

I was thinking of going with an Imp in any case, for the humanoid form inherent, that or a raven so it could speak english. but in any case, disgustingly high level wizard's familiar is smarter than most people, I'm debating if the autonomy would work. |

An imp would be cool. It could then just turn invisible and gather knowledge easy enough. |
