It says it "accelerates until it reaches maximum speed given above"--but I don't see where that maximum speed is listed. The segment "moving the lightning rail" indicates its usual--safe--speed; is the "Percent of maximum speed" table supposed to instead refer to that percent above maximum safe speed? For example, an uphill curve is usually taken at 100 ft.; if you're moving 130 ft. -- 30% above safe speed -- then would you take 1d6 damage? |
