Lightning Rail Prices [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-28-05, 04:55 PM the ECS says it's 5 sp/mile (page 121, under Services and spellcasting) if you don't have the ExH, you'll gave to use the scale of the map to determine the distances involved.

08-28-05, 05:02 PM Or you can use this (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/eb_map/Eberron_Map_32x20.jpg), which has the distance in miles next to the roads. It differs from Explorers Handbook, but it works.

08-28-05, 08:20 PM At one time someone had a couple of charts up with prices of various 'tickets' for the Lightning Rail & Airship. I can't seem to find the link, though.

08-28-05, 11:34 PM ExH clearly enumerates three different classes of tickets, with the most expensive being the price listed in the ECS. There are cheaper tickets, with the lowest price being 2 chickens per mile. I'd recommend at least browsing the book and trying to remember the info.
