| Soulkeeper06-22-06, 04:58 PM | My adventurers are headed to the Principalities, and I am seeking any suggestions for sea based, ship, or related adventures. I have searched many PDF sites, but cannot seem to find any, as if no one adventures on or near water in the D&D world. I'm happy to adjust them for Eberron if not already done, but could use a few links. Thanks in advance! |

But for starters Id recommend taking at least a look at Stormwrack for sea combat, etc. I ran a Lhazaar campaign for awhile until a TPK a while back (I personally used a combination of Stormwrack rules and the OGL ship creation from the Seafarer's Handbook). Both the ECS and PGtE have a few plot hooks for the Lhazaar principalties, as well. Depending on how big of a "splash" you want your PCs to make, Id consider fleshing out all the numerous Princes, with basic stuff like name, class, home base, and flag. |

Initially, its to get their feet wet, and get them more ship bound. We currently are adventuring a modified Red Hand of Doom, the RH are both bandits and pirates, and will be a significant part of our continuing adventure. Drellen is a dwarven port town, on a great river leading to the port town Galbar (made up). Drellen falls in our next adventure and the party will end up in Glabar in retreat. So, the generic side was intentional to simply have sea a few based adventures to skew and toss in. Evetually they will board a ship in persuit of a mysterious craft spotted at night pror to a town invasion. This will lead them seaward and off toward Port Verge and Dreadhold. |
