I'm not sure if anyone has caught this, as I haven't seen it on these boards, but looking over the requirements for the Knight Phantom prestige class I noticed that one has to be proficient in the use of all martial weapons. Yet Lord Darro ir'Lain is a Wizard 6/ Knight Phantom 6. I've looked through most of my 'official' D&D books for a feat that gives proficiency with all martial weapons, but I'm not seeing anything like that. Anyone know if there is some feat like this or is this another error with the Aundair section?

I wouldn't doubt it if it was another error. It doesn't seem the authors really pay true attention to the stats, even though this is how the game is played and the numbers are vital. I'm dissapointed with Wizards on these errors. You would think someone like Hasbro could afford good copy editors. They should just employ a bunch of us to look through their books for errors, most of us would have fun doing it lol.

If you need to stat him out for a game just remove one of his feats in exchange for full martial weapon proficiency.

That won't work as when you take the martial weapon proficiency, instead of getting it as a class ability, you only get proficiency in one martial weapon.

This point has been debated extensively elsewhere; for myself, given the descriptive text for the rôle of the Knights Phantom, I would suspect that the phrase "all martial weapons" should have been "any martial weapon".

But, aye, as written His Lordship ir'Lain could not qualify.
