I see a multitude of references linking eberron to other references like the race's of stone, yet i'm lost as to actually what belongs there. As far as I know, and yes i'm a little behind the times, there are only 2 eberron product's if you include the adventure module shadows of the last war. Am I mistaken? Secondly, i'm lost on a little of the history. It states that WarForged, the current models, were perfected and released 33 years ago. I however haven't seen on the timeline or elsewhere when the FIRST warforged were created, or if they were origonally created on xen'drik since docent's and components for them can be found there? One of my players want's to create a OLD (real old) model of warforged with no knowledge of the past and seeming to have a different design than and that were created by house cannith. I just wan't more info on the world itself, particularly the other continents. Anything would be helpful, thanks. |

If you look on page 21 under Warforged Lands, it states that warforged were created in Cyre before its destruction. Also, on page 22, The Nature of the Warforged explains their origins, detailing things such as how construction on basic robot-like warforged began while King Jarot was still alive. |
| ChronosCrow08-11-04, 03:26 PM | The book also states that those first warforged that were created after King Jarlot were the dumb warforged. They didn't really get the intellegent warforges with souls till later. I don't think there is anythign saying when the first actual warforged were created. So, if you couldn't get Keith to answer your question then I'd say you could go ahead and make it up. You're the DM, it's your world. The guess you stated sounded as good as any to make up for the lack of knowledge, possibly intended really. Also if I were you, I would never allow that player to regain those memories. As far as knowledge about the other continenets goes, to put it plainly, that knowledge just does not exist yet. |
| kildaere00708-11-04, 03:30 PM | I think you might be on the right path though.... ....it is "hinted" that the schema for the warforged came from Xen'drik...and that is possibly where House Cannith got the "plans" from. The Warforged in their current form were created during the war. So if your friend wants to play an ancient warforged from before the war...he would have to presumbly go alllll the way back to when the Giants had their empire and the ruins of Xen'drik wern't ruins. (A loooong time ago!) The easiest way to have a "odd" warforged is to have him be made (currently) by The Lord of Blades or Merrix D'Cannith (sp?). The warforged Monk in my game has no markings on him and is trying to find out his origin. |

(A loooong time ago!) first of all, points for using the word schema in a sentence! i agree... i thought i had read something like that as well. |
