I'm taking a trusty old jacket of mine, a simple red and white American Eagle cotton blazer type thing, and putting the lesser mark of scribing on it in spraypaint. I should be done tomorrow, I just need new spraypaint, or if black will do, I just need to get it out of storage.

What color do you think it should be? Metallic silver? Blue? Black? Gray?

I wish I could sell these things, but that's copyright infringement. Perhaps wizards could sell stencils...

You could go straight black if you want, but I think that mottled shades of blue thats in the ECS looks best.

Have you seen the dragonmark tattoos on Keith's site (http://www.bossythecow.com/tattoos.htm)? Ellen's least Mark of Storm looks the closest to the book, to my eye....

Here's a cool thing ... "make your own temporary tattoos (http://temptats.net/tatkit.html)." Be fun for a Con....

It would be a great idea for a magic item, a temporary "mark of <foo>", it works exactly like a dragonmark but it last for a limited period of time.

Just added the mark of death, waiting for it to dry. I wonder how many I can realistically do. It's a real labor of love, because when you're doing spray-paint stencils, you can't realistically have "islands" in your work, but the dragonmarks obviously have those, so what I do is cut them out, label them, and lay them on the sweater as a block against the spraypaint.

Watch Imprint by Takeshi Miike. It's one of the most unsettling films I've ever seen. I'm shaky and naseous.

Added Greater Mark of Death. I wish I could mass produce and sell these things. 30 bucks a pop for whatever mark you want. (http://static.flickr.com/83/242942755_3faf749573_o.jpg)
