map of the five kingdoms. [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-15-04, 11:35 AM with the talk of much needed maps of khorvaire, what about one that shows the borders of the original five kingdoms before Gilifar? i want to run part of a campaign where the pc need to find an ancient artifact, but the only clues there can find are old border references.

can anyone help?

Looks pretty good to me--but do I remember that Breland also claimed the Shadow Marches before the war? (Claimed and controlled are two different things, so your map may reflect reality better.)

Thrane does look small, but then again, Thrane is pretty much hemmed in by its borders with the other four nations, which seem fairly easy to define pre- or post-war. I think you have it right.

In one sense, this shows us that Thrane lost the least in the war: once you subtract the Eldeen Reaches, the Shadow Marches, Drooam, Zilargo, Darguun, the Mror Holds, and everything Cyre ever claimed, all four of the others got cut down pretty drastically.

07-16-04, 03:52 PM Thrane lost territory to Aundair during the war. Its southern part extended west to lake Galifar and included Arcanis.
