Okay, I have seen the ones of the web, tries to print them out with varying success. What I want to know is, which House do I have to bribe in order to get a nice poster-quality map to be printed? The Realms got a map of their stinkin' landscape, why can't we? Last thing I want is something I have to print in pieces and tape together, talk about a shoddy job that would be. Make us a map, perforated and pull outtable if necessary, but I would prefer one that was not actually physically connected to a book, so that one edge didn't look like someone tried munching on it. The third part of the printed adventures is coming out soon I think, that would be a good place to put it. Or in the next hard cover book to come out, since it obviously missed the potential to be included in SHARN.

Anyway, just my 13 copper pieces.

If you'd bothered to do a bit more complete lookup (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=348529) about the map you'd have noticed at least one post about it that said it would come out bundled with some other items in a few months.

I've mentioned this on a couple of threads about the map, but $28 and a few hours notice will get you a 30" square (more or less) vinyl map. Never folded, no creases, and easy to store with a battle mat.

Searching for specific information, on my work schedule (not to mention the search feature on this site) is a bit difficult to manage, but You're right. I should have taken the time to look through the 216 responses given for a search of "eberron maps" or the 189 responses to "map of khorvaire" or even the 170 links to "eberron poster map" search results to filter through the useless posts that only discussed the web maps and the few that would have actually had the information. Considering that I can spend about an hour scrolling through new posts and still not reach posts from the previous day, It was much more feasable for me to simply ask.

I do thank you though for including a link to a post that discusses the time frame in which I have to wait. Would really be nice if they would do one sooner, but I suppose I can make do with a tiny print until July.

Wow! You have a nasty way of saying "thank you".

I for one appreciate the link and I'm also quite happy that we got a sneak peek at the map and we're getting a new DM screen later on to boot. :-)

Actually, I was quite sincere in my thanks, and I appreciate the link very much.. What I don't appreciate much are the "If you had bothered to. . . . ." comments. Don't think you will ever catch one of them coming from me, as it takes more effort to ride someone about that sort of thing then it does to just answer a question. I could post a new thread right now and chances are that 24 hours later that post will be on the second page, with posts on the first page that could take hours to read, so sometimes trying to "search" for something in particular just turns out to be a joke.

As for a new screen.. well, I am a gaming packrat, so I can always use another screen or adventure module to buy, so I have no problem there.

The person you wish to bribe is named Erik Mona, and he is the Editor-in-chief of DUNGEON and DRAGON magazines. He likes Camambert Cheese, preferably in blocks. :D

Seriously, they are currently running a poster map of the Greyhawk setting for the next four issues; if enough people clamored for it, I guarantee they'd do the same thing with Khorvaire.
