Are there any plans to publish the mark at some point?

Lee Moyer, who designed the other 12 marks, has already created the Mark of Death for WotC; however, I imagine he'd need to get approval from the Powers That Be before he could share it. But yes, it exists and I'm sure it will be shown at some point.
