my campaign is divided into series, and the first two series revolved around the travel of a chosen fav soul from Aerenal to find his destiny on Khorvaire and have the first encounter with his arch nemesis: Erandis d'Vol

in order to make things a bit more Eberronian, and to show that good and evil are very subjective, the third serie will be something completely different.

I intend to run 2- 3 adventures (in January, when I'll be over with the serie I am currently running), based around the fall of house Vol.

The players will be using high level characters (around 18) or low level dragons that are trying to create a new race to finally put the two continents in peace.
But they will see their downfall, chased by both and will try to save the last living heir of the house, the young , innocent Erandis.

I think it would be a nice break from traditional , low powered Eberron adventures and it will helps the players a lot to understand the meaning of evil in Khorvaire. it would also be useful to create a more cinematic story.

Ok, now is up to me to create an Aerenal from loooong ago, and up to you leaving me comments and suggestions.

11-04-05, 12:40 PM Well, I honestly doubt there would be that many high level characters, even back then. The thing with Eberron is that NPCs don't gain xp like PCs do, and they never did. Exceptional people are still exceptional people, but the vast majority of people just don't have it in them to get past lvl 2-3 in their entire lives.

Even back then, lvl 18's would be near godlike in power.

11-07-05, 04:16 AM however we are discussing about 25.000 years of war between dragons and elves. I think there would be some very powerful heroes (just like one of my PCs who wants to play the "baboon lord", the most powerful awakened baboon of Aerenal -get ex from Mononoke for the idea)

Make Erandis father and mother npcs, & your pcs members of the Vol bloodline or the Crossbreeders fraction in Argonessens.

Your the first members of the Emerald Claw...18 lvl thats a realy high for Eberron but if you think thats want you need go with it...

Are they doing this out of something they found in the D.P maybe...
