Mark of Heroes campaign: How do I get started? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I just passed the test and got my Card - What do I need to do now?

12-04-04, 05:08 PM The Mark of Heroes campaign hasn't really started in full yet--this weekend at GenCon SoCal there was a sneak preview.

The first thing you are going to want to do is go to the Mark of Heroes website (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebop/welcome) and read that over. That should tell you everything you need to know. There are Campaign Standards there which detail how Mark of Heroes is going to work. You'll find character sheets and other papers, character creations guidelines, etc.

The campaign begins in earnest at Winter Fantasy 2005 in Washington DC on the last weekend of January. After that, modules will probably start being released for convention, game day, and home game play within a month or two.

There is also a Mark of Heroes Yahoo group (http://games.group.yahoo.com/groups/markofheroes) where people are talking about the campaign.

12-04-04, 07:13 PM Check the Mark of Heroes Web site at the RPGA aften. Specifically, check for updates to the Campaign Standards document. There is a version 1.1 currently available for download.

Also, since Mark of Heroes is a D&D Campaign, getting familiar with Legacy of the Green Regent will go a long way to help learn the system. There is also a thread at the RPGA, HERE (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=342890). Hopefully, MoH will get its own forum soon.
