| Forged_Mistress09-27-04, 03:05 PM | Anyone have a list of the Martial for each race in eberron? Thanks in advance! ~Forged_Mistress~ |
| ThanisKartaleon09-27-04, 03:14 PM | not sure what you mean by that... |
| Forged_Mistress09-27-04, 03:24 PM | I'm sorry about that. I am wondering if anyone has a list of the Martial Weapons for each race in eberron. i.e. fighters get simple or martial weapons. :) Thanks ~Forged_Mistress~ |
| Kid SixXx09-27-04, 03:39 PM | If you mean the Exotics that certain races get to use as martial weapons, then there are a few Eberron weapons you can use in addition to the ones found in CW, S&F, or RoF. Xen'Drik Drow - Xen'Drik Boomerang Gnomes - Gnomish Hooked Hammer (if your Gnome is an artificer, this would probably see as much use as a normal tool as it would a weapon.) Halfings - Talenta Boomerang, Talenta Tangat, Talenta Sharash, Hafling Warsling, Halfling Skiprock Half-Orcs - Orcish Double Axe Elves - Valenar Double Scimitar Dwarves - Dwarvish War Axe, Dwarven Urgosh Changeling - Kukri or Katar (maybe, as they tend to be Rogues & dagger-like weapons seem to suit them) As inspired by the Dragonshards articles, I'd allow Hobgoblins to use the Dire Flail as a Martial Weapon, and would let goblins take the Spiked Chain. |
| ThanisKartaleon09-27-04, 03:43 PM | I'm still a little confused, but if you mean which weapons each race treats as martial rather than exotic: Human, Changeling, Half-Elf (Khoravar), Kalashtar: None Dwarf: Waraxe, Urgrosh Elf: None, but they get Longsword, Rapier, Longbow, Composite Longbow, Shortbow, and Composite Shortbow proficiency regardless of inital class. And see cultures, below. Gnome: Hooked Hammer Half-Orc: None (You'd think they'd get the Double Axe, but oh well) Halfling: None (But they get a +1 when using thrown weapons and slings). And see cultures, below. Shifter: Natural Weapons (Depending on what they have as trait). Warforged: Natural Weapon (Slam) Additionally, certain cultures in Eberron recieve weapon familiarity (though they do not call it as such (see p 24-27) Talenta (Halflings): Sharrash, Tangat, Boomerang Valenar (Elves): Double Scimitar Note that these two cultures are still attacking each other, despite the Treaty of Thronehold. |
