| Tom McCarthy04-05-06, 08:41 AM | I haven't heard of any such module, and I think there's limits to what we'll see. I think the notion of not advancing the calendar goes hand-in-hand with not publishing an earth-shaking adventure. Shadows/Whispers/Grasp may have significant stakes, but success, failure, or the absence of those adventures doesn't have to change daily life in Khorvaire. Red Hand of Doom is based around an event that would change the face of Khorvaire politics and power and would shake up a lot of the continent. So if there's to be a major, multi-level adventure for Eberron which is in the vein of the old Slave Lords, Against the Giants, Descent Into The Depths, Queen of the Demonwebs arc, I expect to see the party battling to maintain the status quo, not changing the world. Bottling up a Khyber invasion, preventing a rakshasa escape, discovering and stopping a major quori plot, or preventing a mad giant from shattering Khorvaire and distrubing the planar motion (he wants Irian to be remote? why?) might all be epic enough to qualify, but I don't know if such will actually get published. |

The problem is, the adventures are usually so tailored to the party, what with the Warforged aspect, the Draconic prophecy, or their relations to the various houses, that making a meta-adventure would be very hard. Perhaps sidebars and options for things like "If your party has a warforged, or "if your party has someone in House Thurrani..." I would love to see it done. I would just like to see it done right. Maybe it could end with a desperate foray into Argonesson or something cool like that. |

By all accounts it appears to be the next stage in the line started with the ECS. Linked for your pleasure: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/953630000 |

Red Hand of Doom lends itself very well to shaping the fate of Darguun or Droaam. |

Really wish this one would have come out along with the rest of the series. |
