Message from Sharn to Talenta - cheapest cost? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-28-06, 11:56 PM What is the cheapest means for a 1st-level PC send a message from Sharn to Freeform (RoE, p. 52) in the Talenta Plains?

Off the top, I was thinking the use of a sending stone to Gatherhold (if there's even a sending stone there) and then courier service to Freeform. Any other suggestions?

06-29-06, 12:52 AM 5 gp for a message station use (ECS Goods and Services), and then 2cp per mile for a courier (Players handbook, goods and services). Never says exactly how far Freeform is from any other landmark, but it should be within 200 miles of Gatherhold at the most, so another 4 gold or less. Not bad all in all.

Alternatively, have a buddy in House Sivis who you can call a favour in from. (Maybe through the "Favoured in house" feat.)
