Millennial Anniversary of the Founding of Galifar [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-13-04, 10:06 PM I couldn't help but notice that the default Eberron campaign starts off two years before the 1000th anniversary of the founding of the (now defunct) nation of Galifar.

What will happen in the year 1000 YK? Will there be celebrations? Protests? Riots? The start of the next war?

Assuming a moderate passage of time between adventures, this event will probably come up in most campaigns of any length.

How do you plan to deal with it?

08-14-04, 09:08 AM There would probably be some sort of holiday and maybe a parade in the larger cities. Think St. Patrick's day but on a smaller scale.

will increase dramatically for those who wish to chuck-it-all and move out to the country, dig a hole and live in it.

On the other hand, there could be doom, death, and destruction.
